Medals, Medals Medals...

You will get a medal for each event you participate in. There are four to collect... do 4 events...get all 4 medals... do 3 events and get 3 medals... do 2 events and get 2 medals...

You will receive a medal if you complete the full or the half option.

When will I get my Race Pack?

You will be notified by email when your race pack is ready for collection from a Christchurch Central location this will be before each event takes place - you must collect your race pack before your first event. If you are from out of town - please contact us to make alternative arrangements.

I want to register more than 1 person..is that possible?

Yes, you can register up to 4 people per transaction. You can register for 1, 2, 3 or 4 Events simply by adding them to your cart at check out.

I would like to register for a combination of  10km and Half options for different events, is this possible?

Yes, for example, you can register for the Sand as a 10km and the Trail as a 5km at registration. The prices will reflect which options you have selected. You will need to select the events individually rather than the 'Series' option.

What time should I arrive on the day?

The events will officially open at 07:00 but we don't want you to have to hang around unnecessarily if you do not need to so please ensure you are at the start pen entrance no later than 20 minutes before your start time. We will send you event specific information prior to each event which will let you know what time you should arrive.

How will I know what time I completed the walk/run in?

All participants will have a timing chip attached to their race bib. Your time will start when you cross the start line and your time will be recorded when you cross the finish line. These results will be published online immediately and can be accessed from this website.

Will water be provided?

Water will be available for you to top up your water bottles at the half way and finish. Please bring enough water for you to start the route with.

What happens if I need assistance during the event?

Medical will be providing medical support at each of the events. Please ensure you pay close attention to the safety briefing which will be made at the start line before each event. The briefing will detail event specific details on how to obtain medical assistance on each route should it be required.

Each event will have a marshaled half way check point and event staff will be able to assist you on the route. A full briefing will be provided at the start of the event.

Will there be food and drinks available?

Yes, we have some fantastic Event Partners who will be there on the day. A breakfast roll will be provided to participants with spectators being able to purchase drinks from vendors on site. Participants will be asked to provide dietary requirements at time of registration so we can cater for you.

I want to walk and run parts of the event, should I enter as a walker or runner?

If you think you may walk and run parts of the event please register as a runner. All participants will set off together.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds will be processed as follows: up to 1st January 50% refund, up to two weeks prior to the event date 25% refund, no refunds will be provided within two weeks of the event. 

Transfers

If you would like to transfer your race distance this can be done until one week prior to the event with a $10 fee. Any changes to distances will be at the discretion of the Race Director depending on available space on the course. 

Name changes will also incur a $10 fee.
